Dark, dismal, dreary morning, but finally the sky is lightening. Finally stopped raining, too, but the ground is absolutely soaked, so no gardening for me today (and likely tomorrow) unless I get an urge to make mud pies. Spent most of the day so far doing chores, cleaning up after puppies and their wet, mucky paws, and doing some meal prep work in the kitchen. Have managed to resist the urge to put on a pot of coffee - so far. Ditto on the dark chocolate Kit Kat -- so far, inviolate, though I have less expectation I will survive that particular temptation.

Am trying to decide what book to read next. I have half a dozen sf/f novels that I really do want to read; I just don't seem to be in the mood for them at the moment. Anything serious is Right Out -- no focus. Maybe I'll go peruse my craft magazines. It's either that, or more vaccuuming...
