Way back when we started trying to save for the house we're now living in (blest be the memory of my dear aunt), we cut out alot of things we really enjoyed like live theatre and opera and concert festivals and the like. A brilliant literary star is gone. But she lives on in her work. Her books are among the most treasured in my library. I might not have always agreed with what her stories had to say, but her words never failed to move me, or make me think. Damn, now I'm crying.
