Look down, fair moon, and bathe this scene;
Pour softly down night’s nimbus floods, on faces ghastly, swollen, purple;
On the dead, on their backs, with their arms toss’d wide,
Pour down your unstinted nimbus, sacred moon.

The chill winds and dark skies of November mark a time of reflection and release, and though the sting of grief is oft-times most painful during this portion of the year, the icy air brings clarity and eases the burden of suffering. These are the blossoms of loss and liberation, soothed by the calm, comforting scent of sandalwood : lilac, calla lily, wisteria, white sandalwood, moonflower, night musk, phlox, and violet.

The graphic that goes with this is simply GORGEOUS. I'm really tempted to order a tee, even though the last thing I really need is more tee shirts. I'll probably be able to resist, but still... gorgeous.

Now to decide what I'll order along with it. I think I'm definitely going to get LUCY WESTENRA, which barely missed the previous cut. And likely ALL SAINTS, too. It's the fourth that's causing the consternation.... I'm still having a yearning for CREEPY. Hmmm... off to read reviews again.

ETA 10/06 Ok, I've ordered... the four (White Moon, Lucy, Creepy, All Saints O6). Still weebling on the tee. It's so preettty...

ETA Oct29: arrived and waiting for us when we got home!

Despite the thundering, clouds and rain, we went off to the farm last night. It wasn't too bad in the city (the rain had mostly stopped) but WHOA! was it cold at the farm. No rain, but windy! I forget how windy it gets out there sometimes. Still, the doggies had a blast and Sera got a nice long session of fetch. (The wind wanted to play, too, blowing the toy around, not that Sera seemed to mind.)

Fully chilled, we came home, Still chilled, I made hot chocolate, with cream and milk and shaved dark chocolate. Ymmmmmm. Then we settled in to watch some TV. I am really, really liking Heroes. It's got some really interesting SF going on. Keeping my fingers crossed that they keep it up.

Season opener of Veronica Mars , too. They sure opened with a bang. Another keeper (but then we expected that.) Haven't watched the opener of Lost yet.

Over all, it's looking to be a unusually heavy field of good shows. The culling of the herd will be painful.
